Parker Pad & Printing – General Help Bindery Support – Required Immediately

Looking for occasional, part-time workers to assist in our bindery.   Required immediately.  Duties include lifting, cutting, folding, inserting, booklet making, carrying and packing.  Must be able to stand.  Ability to follow direction, maintain a clean and tidy work area and follow safety practices required.

$12.00 per hour.

Prior bindery experience is an asset but not required.

Ideal candidate has 3+ years of print shop experience including customer service, print production, bindery and general administration.  Solid knowledge of print and finishing, strong organization skills with an ability to multi-task and an intermediate working level of Excel required.

Canoe FM – Daytime Broadcast Coordinator

The Broadcast Coordinator will work with volunteers to build stronger community relationships, ensure skillful content delivery, improve local news and information and make a stronger commitment to our community by providing the listeners with more focused local programming. This project will ensure the station has better quality and more consistent daytime programming.

Fowler Construction – Asphalt Service Truck Driver

Position Purpose: Asphalt service truck drivers will operate a tractor-trailer, tri-axle truck or tandem truck or any combination to transport and deliver materials in liquid, loose or asphalt form and equipment to the construction sites and then work with the asphalt road crews. This could include running equipment, laboring (raking/shoveling) and/or traffic control. Drivers will be required to load, unload and secure the load where necessary.

Minden Hills Community Services – Summer Student

The Minden Hills Community Services Department is currently accepting resumes for a Summer Student position until August 25, 2017. This position provides support and a variety of maintenance operations for the Community Services Department. This position is based on a 40-hour work week, involving variable shifts. The rate of pay is $11.40 per hour. Students must be between the ages of 16-30 and returning to school in the fall.

Minden Hills Community Services – Temporary Full Time Operator

The Community Services Operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the parks, cemeteries and facilities, under the supervision of the Director of Community Services or designate(s). This is a temporary full time position.
The position is based on a forty (40) hour work week, being variable shifts, including days,
evenings, weekends and Statutory holidays as required. The current rate of pay is $22.89/hour as per LOCAL 4286 Collective Agreement – Schedule “A”. Earnings will be subject to Union dues.
